I'm passionate about inspiring you to want to pick up a needle and thread and get sewing!
Tailor Taylor, first started as a facebook page, where I could share what I was making with friends and family. Just pictures of what I was making for myself or others.
But then Tailor Taylor changed into something else, it became a space where not only was I being encouraged to keep sewing but to also start running workshops where other could join and learn with me.
The #sewingrevolution was born!
Starting with upcycling workshops as for me this is how I really taught myself to sew. By deconstructing ready to wear clothes and making them into something new, I learned how things are made and I didn't need to spend loads on fabric to get started as I was just using what I no longer wore.
The #sewingrevolution then became an ethos of encouragement and inspiration. By sharing your skills and makes with others, your self confidence grows but you also encourage others to want to give it a go to!
I truly believe that creativity is a healer, and I hope that my no fuss , made to measure, draft it yourself patterns help you to feel good about yourself, help you love the skin your in and most of all love you clothes!
